It’s not every day that you get to help someone make their dream come true. Recently I had the amazing opportunity to help Lauren Dunn achieve her dream of becoming a USC Song Girl. The first time I got to meet Lauren was after she reached out regarding needing hair and makeup for a headshots photoshoot she booked, which were her very first steps for being picked for the USC Song Girl tryouts. I am very proud to say that Lauren is now officially a USC Song Girl and I had the opportunity to doll her up with hair and makeup for all of her tryouts and interviews.
I am very excited about this for a number of reasons. First and foremost, I love helping people accomplish whatever it is that they are striving for. It is one of the main reasons I love being a makeup artist. When you look good, you feel good and when you feel good, you are in the right frame of mind to perform at your best.
Secondly, my fiancee and I both hold USC very close to our hearts as he is a very proud USC alumna. We will be watching Lauren proudly as graces the sidelines at USC Football games.

I can’t tell you how proud I am of Lauren and how proud I am that I had the opportunity to help her achieve this goal. These are the clients and stories that really validate what I do and inspire me to continue to help people, whatever their mission may be.
