I couldn’t be more excited to report that my work recently showed up in a San Francisco Globe article titled 27 Photos That Demonstrate The Power of Makeup. A lot of these types of articles have been going around lately in which before and after makeup transformations are featured and I have been blessed that many of my photos are appearing around the internet because of it.
If you check out that list of makeup transformations, my photo is photo number three (seen below). When I took that picture (on an iPhone by the way!), I had absolutely no idea that it would generate that much interest and visibility for my work. That photo was taken after a wedding trial, which also served as preparation for her engagement shoot. As was pointed out by many of the people commenting in the San Francisco Globe article, my client is gorgeous both before and after she had her hair and makeup done.

This year has been a tremendous year for me and my company as it pertains to my career as a makeup artist. To be featured in something like this, which, as you can imagine, has drawn a tremendous amount of attention to my work is an absolute blessing and I couldn’t be more thankful.
I love what I do as a makeup artist and I love creating these transformations for my clients. I believe each and every one of them is beautiful and it isn’t my job to make them beautiful but to enhance their inherent beauty. I want to thank my client for allowing me to post the before and after to begin with (as you can imagine not everyone is okay with that). I also want to thank the San Francisco Globe for featuring my work.
