I recently had the pleasure of being the makeup artist and hair stylist for an engagement photo shoot that took place in Santa Monica, CA with the beautiful Candace Lopez and her fiancee. Candace is a very sweet woman who found me online and came to my beauty studio here in Calabasas to get her hair and makeup done before her big shoot.
We had so much fun enhancing her natural beauty and chatting while she was here. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to be her bridal makeup artist as her wedding is going to take place in Hawaii. I was a bit disappointed about this because we really clicked and had a good time but completely realize it wasn’t going to be cost effective for her to fly me out for her wedding. I haven’t been to Hawaii yet but am planning on going on vacation there in the near future.
As I’ve mentioned many times before, I love doing makeup for engagement photo shoots. Besides weddings, there is nothing more precious than being a part of capturing two people’s love and commitment to each other. I always love how the photos turn out- there is something really special about them.As you can see from the photos Candace is a beautiful woman and the photos from her shoot turned out wonderfully. I love the dress that she wore for the shoot.
I want to thank her for allowing me to beautify her for her engagement shoot. I also want to wish her and her fiancee all the best in planning their wedding in Hawaii- I’m sure it will be beautiful and she will look absolutely stunning.
