Hi Everyone!
Excited to share with you today that my hair and makeup work showed up on Maxim Magazine’s website. The beautiful model in the shoot is Melissa McCarty. The shoot took place at a gorgeous home in Malibu, CA. and I did it in conjunction with one of the most talented photographers I know, Brittany Berggren of Brittany Berggren Photography. For those of you who don’t know Melissa, she’s worked as a newscaster for 5 years on KCAL 9 and KCBS, has appeared on T.V shows such as NBC’s Chuck, HBO’s Big Love, FOX’s Lie to me and ABC Family’s Middleman. She is currently working for Larry King’s Ora TV as the host of Newsbreaker.
I’ve worked with Melissa on various shoots before. One of the photos I did her hair and makeup for is going to be the cover of her book “News Girls Don’t Cry”, which I can’t wait to read.Attached are the photos from the shoot. Melissa, as usual looks absolutely gorgeous in these photos.
I am so excited about this for various reasons. For one, Melissa is not only beautiful but a wonderful person and incredibly talented. Secondly, this is the first time my work appears in Maxim. I couldn’t be more thankful!
I want to thank both Melissa and Brittany for making me a part of such a fantastic photo shoot. More photos from this shoot will be released on other media outlets in the days to come- looking forward to sharing them with you.
