I recently had the opportunity to be the makeup artist and hair stylist for the publicity shoot for the upcoming TV show called “The Big Big Show” in Los Angeles, CA. The show will feature Andrew ‘Dice’ Clay (Blue Jasmine, Entourage, Celebrity Apprentice), Tara Reid (Sharknado, American Pie, The Big Lebowski), Tom Green (Freddy Got Fingered, Charlie’s Angels, The Late Show with David Letterman) and Tommy Habeeb. Twenty-two one-hour episodes are being produced by THE (Tommy Habeeb Enterprises) and Big Big Show Productions, LLC and will be distributed through American Television Distribution in the US and worldwide. I got in touch with the great people from the show after having been contacted as a result of one of the photographers having come across my website looking for a makeup artist and hair stylist. As has been somewhat common in my career thus far, when I showed up for the shoot I had no idea what to expect- I was just told that I’d be providing hair and makeup services for the shoot. At the time there wasn’t much literature online regarding the show and I had no idea who the cast was going to be comprised of- low and behold I showed up to the shoot and on my list of clients for the day was Tara Reid, Tom Green and Tommy Habeeb- all entertainers whose careers I’ve followed and admire. At this point in my career as a makeup artist and hair stylist I’ve worked with a number of celebrities but this is the first time that I show up to a set or a shoot without knowing exactly who I was going to work on and it turn out to be a bigger deal than I thought it may be- to say the least it was a pleasant surprise.
All of the people from “The Big Big Show” were very nice, professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. I want to thank Scott Ricamore, Tommy Habeeb and all of the crew for bringing me on board for the publicity shoot. It was a lot of fun and hope to work with them again at some point soon!
