Hello Beautiful People!
I’m excited to share some photos from a shoot I was the makeup artist and hair stylist for in Ventura, CA. The shoot was with the beautiful Jodi-Ann Allen and was done for the purpose of adding to Jodi’s modeling portfolio as well as a boudoir shoot for her husband. Throughout the shoot we did numerous different makeup and hair looks for Jodi- first we did a more natural look then bumped her up to more of a smokey burgundy, purple and black smokey eye.
I worked on this shoot with the fabulous photographer Denise Adamo of Artistic Images who I’ve been working more and more with. We always produce fabulous work together- she is VERY good at what she does. I’ve worked on a holiday boudoir shoot with her, a Valentines Day boudoir shoot, a bridal boudoir shoot and many others. I really enjoy doing hair and makeup boudoir shoots and I really enjoy working with Denise. I love working on boudoir shoots because I get to make my clients look and feel like sexy Victoria Secret models which is always a lot of fun! Making women feel empowered and sexy really makes me happy- it is one of the aspects of being a makeup artist that I love the most. As you can see from the picture to the left, Jodi looked stunning. I want to thank Jodi for being such a pleasure to work with. I also want to thank Jodi for everything she does for our country- she is a marine which I find to be incredibly admirable. During the shoot she mentioned she’d want to work together again in the near future which I’m really look forward to- I’ve already planned some new looks that I can do on her!
