Hey Everybody–
I was the hair and makeup artist for another boudoir photo shoot the other day in Los Angeles (you can read how I achieved the perfect makeup look from the last boudoir shoot here). I worked on this boudoir shoot with the awesome team at Artistic Images.
In case you did not know, a boudoir photo shoot is a photo shoot that is glamorous, sexy, private, provocative and a little bit naughty. The models in this sexy shoot were two brunette women and the photo shoot was done as a Christmas gifts for each of their husbands. These lovely ladies have been best friends for 27 years and one surprised the other with the idea to do this kind of shoot as a special gift.
I absolutely love what I do as a makeup artist but this project was especially fun. While doing their makeup and hair they told me that they weren’t very into getting dolled up and that they were out of their comfort zone by doing so but I was able to gain their trust and they absolutely adored the end result- which makes me a very happy person!

My model for the look above usually has straight hair-to prep her for the shoot we gave her voluminous curls, and used purples to make her brown eye color pop!
For the model above we used her natural hair as the photographer absolutely loved it- all we had to do was defrizzle her normal hair and for her eyes, we used gold’s and browns to accentuate her eye color.
