I recently had the opportunity to work on the ABC show Celebrity Wife Swap as the makeup artist and hair stylist for the beautiful Devin DeVasquez. For those of you who haven’t seen it, Celebrity Wife Swap is an ingenious show in which two families, usually from different social classes and lifestyles, swap wives/mothers – and sometimes husbands – for two weeks. In this particular episode, two celebrity couples swapped spouses. The two couples featured in this episode were Ronn Moss (The Bold and The Beautiful) and his wife Devin DeVasquez and Tyler Christopher (General Hospital) and his wife Brienne.
I’ve been blessed enough to have worked with Devin as her makeup artist and hair stylist many times in the past for photo shoots and events. One of the photos that came out of one of the photo shoots we worked on together is the cover of Devin’s book True Age, Timeless Beauty: A Guide to Finding the Fountain of Youth and All that You Desire in Life.
Devin is an amazing woman I truly admire. She is an author, a pinup model, a philanthropist and entrepreneur that has lived in amazing life- her zest for life is truly something that I admire and try to implement into my own life.
Having the opportunity to work with Devin on Celebrity Wife Swap was an amazing opportunity. It is the first show that I’ve worked on that has aired on ABC, and truly a unique experience. When I saw the episode actually air, I was really happy with the end result as Devin looked amazing (per usual).
