Hey Everyone–
Just received a few bridal photos from a wedding I was the makeup artist and hair stylist for at the Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara, CA. The Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara is absolutely gorgeous and is an amazing place for any kind of celebration. I’ve done hair and makeup for a number of different weddings and events at the Bacara in Santa Barbara, including the UGG Australia 2012 Fashion Show. It is a beautiful place and if you are considering locations to get married in Santa Barbara I highly recommend you at least consider it.
I first met the wonderful bride Stephanie when she came to my beauty studio in Calabasas, CA. Believe it or not she was referred to me by the wedding DJ she had hired (that was a first!). When I first began speaking with Stephanie she had unfortunately had some not so great experiences with the makeup artists she had done hair and makeup trials with. After I reassured her we would not have any problems creating her desired look she decided she wanted to meet in person. We then met for a face-to-face consultation and talked about her dream bridal look and after we got to know each other a little bit she booked a trial for several weeks after our face to face meeting. When Stephanie came back to do her bridal hair and makeup trial we had a lot of fun and I was able to give her exactly the look she wanted to have on her wedding day. You can see a photo from her trial on our before and after hair and makeup gallery. She looked absolutely gorgeous and we replicated that exact look on her wedding day.
As you can see from some of the photos I’ve received Stephanie and her husband make a lovely couple. Stephanie was a total sweet heart- an absolute pleasure to beautify and I’m very thankful she made me a part of her wedding day. Wishing her and her husband all the best in love and marriage!
