I know that I love my job as a makeup artist and hair styylist because every time I receive an e-mail from a photographer I work with while expecting photos back I get absolutely giddy. Very few things make me happier than seeing the product of our work.
I couldn’t be more excited to share these beauty photos with you.These photos are from a shoot I was the makeup artist and hair stylist for recently here in Calabasas, CA. I worked on this shoot with the amazing photographer Jalisco Wayne and the very talented model Amber Coyle. I’ve worked with Jalisco before and absolutely love working with him. When first started discussing this shoot we established very early on that we were going into it with the goal to let everyone get creative and produce some amazing beauty shots. We also had some looks that we’ve seen recently that we wanted to recreate and put our own personal twist on. I couldn’t be happier about how the shots turned out. I love working on beauty shoots and have been concentrating on this facet of the makeup artist industry much more lately. For those of you that follow this blog you know I make it a point to choose my favorite photo- every time I go to choose one and write about it I decide on another one. Oh well! Maybe later : )
