Hey Everyone!
Below are a few photos from an engagement photo shoot I was the makeup artist and hairstylist for that took place in beautiful Agoura Hills, CA. For those of you who are not from the area, Agoura Hills (and surrounding cities) are a fantastic place to do engagement photo shoots. My beautiful clients name is Lucia Lee and she was a total sweetheart. She is a brilliant woman and was a lot of fun to work with. This was our first meeting- we did her recommended wedding makeup trial and she decided that she also wanted me to prepare her for her engagement shoot which I was more than happy to do. A lot of my clients decide to do their wedding trial and their engagement photos on the same day and is my opinion the best way to do it. That way you get to see multiple looks from your makeup artist and have a good amount of time to speak about your ideal wedding day look.
To create the look you see in the photos with Lucia we gave her hair extensions and a lot of curls and waves. I absolutely love the way her hair and make up turned out. As for her makeup, we gave her a natural look with a smokey eye. Lucia looks beautiful in her pictures- I can’t wait to be her wedding makeup artist come September 28th.
I’m also really looking forward to working with her wedding photographer John B. Mueller- although I did not meet him prior to this engagement shoot but I have had a chance to look at some of his work and it is fantastic.
