Hey Y’All–
I was the hair and makeup artist for the bridesmaids for Isabelle and Charles Fick’s amazing wedding in Malibu, CA that took place on November 9th, 2012. Isabelle and Charles are an amazing couple that have been together since high school- I have known this couple for many years and from the minute you met them both you could tell they were so in love and were going to one day get married. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to be one of the makeup artists for this wedding. They are both insanely funny and are an absolute riot to be around.
For this wedding I was the airbrush makeup artist for all five of Isabelle’s bridesmaids and the mother of the bride as well as the mother of the groom. We had a blast. We’ve all known each other for many years and had not seen each other in a long time so working with these lovely ladies was an absolute pleasure. When we sat down to discuss the look for the bridesmaids, these lovely ladies informed me that they very rarely wore makeup but let me know that they were excited to see what I could do for them and to just do my thing! My favorite part about the whole experience was seeing them all step in front of the mirror and saying, “Holy crap! This is me?”. :) This is just one of my favorite parts about being a makeup artist.
I wish Isabelle and Charles the greatest of happiness! I am so happy for them and look forward to seeing their relationship grow.
