Hey Everyone,
I was blessed to have the opportunity to be the makeup artist & hairstylist for Julie & David’s beautiful wedding at the Moorpark Country Club in Moorpark, CA. This is a marvelous place for a wedding and I have worked on many brides that have gotten married there before. Julie and David Harrison are an amazing young couple. You can tell that there is something special about them from the minute you see them together as they are both so full of love, life and energy. Because of their mutual love for country music they met at the Borderline Bar and Grill located in Westlake Village, CA on one of Borderline’s county music nights. They met on the dance floor while shaking their boots and have been inseparable ever since! I love stories like that.
Julie and her huge bridal party were amazing to work with. I did hair and makeup for all of them and I couldn’t have had more fun. They were all funny, energetic and so excited about the big day. I am so happy I had the opportunity to be a part of Julie’s wedding. I love being a part of all weddings but when the bride, groom and bridal party all have that special twinkle in their eye it makes it all the more enjoyable! Below you can see some of the photos from the wedding (I am working on gathering others). My favorite picture out of them all is the one right below. They both look so happy and in love and they look perfect for each other. I also really like the picture of Julie & David on the railroad tracks- I feel like it is very symbolic of Julie’s confidence in David and him taking care of her. Let me know what you think!
