As a makeup artist who has had the privilege of being involved in a huge array of photo shoots, I can say that without a doubt one of my favorite types of shoots to be a part of is maternity photo shoots. They are wonderful- an expecting mother is an absolute thing of beauty and to be a part of capturing those moments is a privilege. Take the beauty of a pregnant woman and add the fact that the expectant mother is a good friend of yours, and the feeling is multiplied by 10!
The star of this maternity photo shoot is my good friend Brittany Berggren, whom I have known and worked with for years. She is not only a really sweet and smart woman, she is an unbelievably talented photographer.
As you can see from these photos, Brittany looked absolutely stunning. Everything from the setting, to the wardrobe to the accessories she was wearing- everything was perfect. These are the photos that result from a maternity shoot where the star of the shoot is a talented photographer and the photographer taking the photos (Becca Rillow Photography) is incredibly talented herself. I love these photos and am very happy about how her hair and makeup turned out. I usually make it a point to choose a favorite photo and break it down but for these, it is just too hard. They are all amazing!
I want to thank Brittany for not only allowing me to do her hair and makeup for her maternity photos, but for her amazing friendship over the years. I couldn’t be more thankful to have you in my life. Wishing you nothing but the best in your pregnancy and in motherhood.
